@AstrosCounty: Astros shortstops, since Lowrie's injury: .214/.247/.314, 17K:3BB

It is definitely time

Can we afford to wait another month? If we could somehow stay 5 games in front of everyone in the division until he arrives, I would be ecstatic but I don't think that'll happen.

The fact that Gattis and Carter are complete shite is far more of a problem than the SS position.

It's only about 2.5 weeks til super two cutoff. That's not entirely unreasonable.

I do have a feeling that the Tigers are going to skullfrick us though. Hopefully we can build some momentum before then

I had a feeling everyone on the west coast was going to skull frick us. Same for Toronto.

I mean, let's be real, none of us trust them at all just yet or remotely confident

Yeah, it's an extremely weird team. There are so many guys who make me wanna pull my hair out but they've been fun to watch. We won't have a really successful season unless Correa comes up and plays well, Springer turns it on big time, and Gattis and/or Carter stop being complete shite.

That Correa guy is pretty good. I expected there to be a little adjustment period, moving to AAA. He's not tearing the cover off the ball like he was, but still hitting over .300 with a few doubles and a HR now.

He won't be 21 till September.

I heard Nolan Ryan today on Matt Thomas's show talking about getting rid of Tal's hill and the pole in center field. with the TV guys talking about this more and more and the front office already teeing that up that it was in the discussion, I think there will be some changes to MMP. I don't know how they would change much other than taking the hill and pole out though. no way to change the Crawford boxes without taking them out and losing seating.

Valbuena's HR against Buerle on Sunday would not have been a HR in any other ML park. Springers shot last night would have been a HR in nearly every other park.

After todays game I think he is hitting over .400 in his last ten games.

Santana hit two HRs today and is up to .321 on the season. He was bad in his limited ABs last season but still isn't 23 yet. He could still factor into the plans or be a key piece in a trade.

I think the Boxes stay, but they should bring in left center field and turn the added space into a party deck of some sort. Also, bring in center field to 415-420 while leaving the hill/pole (hell, make the hill bigger for decoration if they want).

Start rounding it off for the new fencing at about the 404 mark in left center.

Ryno already linked the Correa bomb. He does not suck at baseball.
