I hate the Yankees but Jeter was the last of a dying breed... just an all American kid playing the game he loved and did it the right way.....

Seriously, I'm big on nostalgia and a pessimist about the unrelenting decline of our society into the abyss, but if there is one place that isn't present, it's baseball. The MLB is fricking awesome right now as a league.

Why do people assume Jeter did nothing? He was in New York that had juice heads come through just like every other MLB team in that time span.
Assuming someone in that era "did it the right way" just because they don't look like the juiced is a completely ignorant stance to take.
This last sentence was in reference to Bagwell never being actually linked to roids but everyone assuming he did because guys around him did and he was big.
