That double steal was sweet. Porter would never do that shite. I'm pumped but very nervous. Springer and Valbuena had terrible AB's with a runner on 3rd, less than 2 out. Springer is constantly trying to kill the damn ball. So talented but something has to click with these K's and situational hitting.

Can he play first base?

Wait, Carter has a 5-game hitting streak!

Can he catch?

The team would've laid down like a fed puppy last year after that A's comeback.

The Houston Astros, yes the Houston Astros, have now won 5 of 6 games in a division west coast trip and currently hold a 2 game lead over the division. Holy shite this is awesome!

This team is for real and they haven't even reached their potential yet.

Holy crap!! Just got finished watching. This team just won't quit. Love the aggressiveness and fight they're showing. Double steal was awesome. My only complaint with Hinch is not getting the starters out sooner when they are beginning to struggle. Or at least have someone up and getting ready. Couldn't have asked for a better start. First place!!!!!

We've got Jabroni and Kid going in the SD series. Need 2/3 at least.

Yes, I'm starting to expect it.

My thoughts exactly. This game hopefully will give the guys a boost of confidence on down the road. I know it's only April, but it's been a long time since the team looked like this.

He'll turn it around. He needs to be moved down in the lineup. I'd bat him 7th.
