This. The 3rd starter spot in the rotation is the only SP slot really struggling so far. Pleasantly surprised with Fausto's performances so far. If he can keep us in games more often than not like he has been and we get this 3rd rotation spot figured out, watch out. We'll have a lot better depth 1 through 5 than most expected before the season and it should help prevent any prolonged losing streaks that we are used to seeing the past few years.

Altuve is an A's killer! How quickly does he steal 2nd?

Altuve has us off on the right foot. Hopefully George can duplicate his performance yesterday.

Pomeranz is pounding the strike zone early. He looks very sharp.

Some ABs that lead to nothing are still very encouraging. Gattis just had a very solid trip to the plate. He's seeing the ball well and making consistent contact lately.

Just when you thing Springer is getting it together he puts up a horrible at bat like the 1st inning. Swung as hard as possible at 3 straight and struck out.
You're right about Gattis though. That was encouraging. He took some good cuts and laid off of some stuff he was chasing a few games back.

George's previous AB was an oppo homer so that was just a young kid swinging from his heals. Bet he is much more patient next time up.
Best single inning I've ever seen from Wojo. Let's hope it starts a trend.

MarGo!
He needs to play every day until he cools off. Other than Altuve, he is swinging the best bat on the team.

I really like MarGo. For a rule V pick, he's worked out great. Plays all around the infield, puts together solid ABs. Solid D. Pretty much a perfect bench guy

Wojo just cannot get left handed hitters out well enough. The problem is not going away.
