I used to complain about Ausmus and Everett being inning killers. I'd kick a puppy to have Everett at short, Ausmus catching, and Castro at first right now.

Another mediocre 5 inning start for Harrell.

Mid April prediction: Chris Carter won't finish the year as part of the Astros.

One can only hope.

The sad truth is that there are only 3 players in the starting lineup that would be starters on most other MLB teams. And really only 1 pitcher in the starting rotation that would probably make most rotations.

I know this isn't any kind of ground breaking news but this is the first game I've been able to watch since I don't have cst and it has really become apparent when you watch them.

I was overhearing some guy sitting behind me that apparently works for Luhnow in some fashion and he was talking about how it shouldn't be much longer until some of the young talent starts coming up. Can't wait for that!

He's awful. He's got 1 job since he's also fricking useless on defense. Yet in the 3rd week of the season, he's got 0HR and 1RBI. Dude is complete garbage.

Harrell's a AAAA pitcher who was a waiver claim; he's just a placeholder. Don't know what yall expect from him.
When they signed Feldman and tried to sign Abreu, I thought the Astros would put a little more effort to putting a major league team out there, but they keep holding their prospects back. Hope they aren't overdoing that and that it doesn't backfire.

Tiger Ryno is just trolling at this point. Get off the bandwagon and don't come back.

@ Grossman being named Player of the Game.

0-3
2 K's

plus tripping over his own shadow in left field.

Not trolling. You guys are saying the same things I have said before the season. It boils down to a lack of investment in the big league team.

We're in such need of a big league hitter, I wonder if we shouldn't give up a prospect like Andrew Thurman or Preston Tucker for a big league bat

Just because we won't be contenders at the deadline doesn't mean we can't be buyers

Yeah and Santana won't be ready this year either.

But damn. They're already better options
