I know everybody woke up feeling good.

It will be interesting to see the playoff roster today.

This is fricking amazing. I'm loving every second.

Go Stros

It's feeling "fine", with something special on my mind. And I even tried feeding my hamster orange juice.

Did anyone see Drellich rip into Keith Law on twitter last night?

.@keithlaw Keith you’re a tired act. You attack reporters & followers alike—a sad bully. That story never said Astros wouldn’t find success

@keithlaw I explained what bothered me. Very, very clearly. How spineless. I won’t press further, but I couldn’t hold less respect for you.

I'm sure yall have discussed this ad nauseam the last few days and I haven't been around as much the last month or so, but IF they can beat the Yanks, I sure as shite would rather be playing KC than Toronto in the DS.

Regardless, it is awesome to be playing a postseason game

I loved watching the post-game celebration yesterday.

A lot of people have talked about wanting to party with Keuchel... yeah, that'd be cool. But damn, I think hanging with King Conger would be the best party. Dude clearly knows how to party and draw a crowd.

Here's some fun for the day... Caption this pic.

ETA: You put Conger, Rasmus, and a midget in a stretch limo in Vegas. Oh man, that town would not be ready.

Interesting article on espn.com about the "Postseason formula for success." Guy analyzed the traits of the last ten teams to reach the World Series.
LINK

Basically. Strikeouts are really bad, Homeruns are overated, your bullpen needs to be deep and reliable because starters don't fare well three times around a lineup in the Postseason, you need am Ace, and low pitching velocities tend to have more success.

Should've just titled the article Why the Astros are fricked this Postseason.

So if we beat NYY, what's the rotation look like for the ALDS?

Kazmir
McCullers
Keuchel

Not sure what they'll do with Kazmir with how awful he's been. He did shut down KC in his first start for the Stros. Or will they go with McHugh??

I'd prefer to cross that bridge when we get there.

There is no game beyond tomorrow night.

And there's nobody id rather have on the mound.

Well we aren't playing the game so what does it matter if we look ahead?? Just discussion... and I agree wholeheartedly, so glad DK is on the bump.
