I need to see Yed in 3 hole. Bregman not producing with pitches to hit. Tucker will likely have to be in lineup but where?

Are you on drugs?
Bregman hasn’t been getting good hits?
You think tucker is the batter that needs to sit? Jfc he’s been off but look at Peña and Maldonado

We see different games, man

Bregman is your $30 M 3 hole hitter getting the absolute best pitches to hit with Yed on deck

Pena and Maldonado are your 8 and 9 hole for a reason. They make $7 M between them, maybe

Drugs? Yeah, I might need some for tmrw night, but if we’re counting on Pena and Maldonado to produce tmrw night to win, I’d rather watch HGTV

No home runs at home. Rangers have hit 5.

Peña and Maldy are what they are but Tucker has been far and away even worse than both and that’s a much bigger problem.

Yes, I called it out in the thread

I have no faith in Bregman to produce now or next year and I don’t expect him to be an Astro after ‘24

I’m not going back and screen shot it, but I posted how bad that was, mostly knowing they wanted no part of Yed, yet he couldn’t find the ball in back to back pitches middle middle

The team is simply a reflection of their manager. They have become Dusty Bakers. They think they will simply snap out of things and nothing needs to be done to adjust. Then you will see stupid logic like outing a .160 hitter pinch hit simply because lefty splits are 0.1 better than righties.

He still sucks as a hitter. Never should have been there.

What’s crazy is you have watched playera play well at times this season (Peña and McCormick) only to struggle as of late. It’s like the only people able to counter Dusty’s “magic” are Altuve and Alvarez. I wonder if Abreu is ignoring him and thus his improvement.

We have 6 runs in 3 fricking games at home. Dusty do fricking anything to throw off their home routine. Something has to change

As a Rangers fan I don’t see any way we win tonight. We are out of pitching and Max can’t go more than 4 even if he’s flawless.

We blew the series in game, plain and simple. That will haunt us tonight

The only guy not available tonight is Eovaldi, and maybe Montgomery. Every other arm is available in a game 7.

As a Rangers fan
—I appreciate your honest take. I hope you’re right, but if DB keeps Tucker in the lineup and hangs on to Javier too long, you guys will win.

Logic would say that is correct and that the Astros are in a pretty good spot

But their play at home probably cancels out the Rangers suspect bullpen

Could be a classic in the making.

Montgomery will Come in after max. Give them 2 or 3 innings and be the winning pitcher.
