I do think the lineups we've ran out the last two have a better chance to figure out Montgomery.

I think we can hit anyone if we are just patient at the plate. Something that is getting overlooked is that we had 7 walks last night, which were the catalysts for several of our runs. And we seem to do that a lot on the road, but inexplicably not at home. We wouldn’t try to work walks at home if Rick Vaughn were there pitching without his glasses.

Wonder if they have decided on the roof?

Maybe halfway?

And while I’m on the subject of stadiums, why don’t we host Sunday at NRG

I mean if we can arbitrarily decide on the roof now, choosing venue is a given

Interested to see if Brantley is back in today. I think I am fine either way. At the risk of upsetting this thread and also jinxing it, our dear leader has pushed all the right buttons so far through these 8 games at least

I wouldn't play Brantley today. Need put best OF with Verlander and more rhb. I would use same lineup as last night. We are gonna need to play some small ball if we get guys on. We have to keep it close and get JM out before the 7th.

No, but the rumor I heard from a friend in Fort Worth is Globe Life is going to start requiring Houston Astro's fans to wear condoms when we play.

It's doesn't really matter. Nobody is beating Philly this year.

You say this as if bats can't go cold at the wrong time. They only scored 0 runs yesterday against a guy with a 10 era on the season and only got 1 cuz the other guy came in and walked 2 guys

Shhh let Ryno cook. It’s for the best of the organization when he does.

Wish I lived closer than 7 hours from Dallas, tickets are insanely affordable compared to what they were in Houston on Sunday-Monday

Difficult when they got a guy out there like Montgomery. He has beautiful control. Most walks he gave up this year was 4, and that was once.
