I believe we need 1 win to win to win the Silver Boot. A rangers sweep and they’d get it

The Rangers elimination number is 2. Gonna be great to put the boot on their post season hopes.

And magic number of 4 over the Red Sox to secure at least #2 seed.

Apparently, Bregman got into a twitter spat with someone about kneeling. The original tweet has been deleted, but it seems Bregs is contemplating joining the sheep kneeling.

If that happens, I can't imagine what it will do to the locker room. I'm thinking McCann, Gattis, and especially Reddick will have a serious problem with anyone kneeling.

Marwin and Altuve might be able to get in on that too.

Yeah, I didn't intend to start the debate here. I just hope the locker room stays focused.

ETA: maybe Reddick won't be concerned, after all, he did have the flag snugging up his nutsack.

Teoscar summoning his inner Astro in Boston

5-2 Blue Jays going bot 2

They are pounding Pomeranz

Wish we could beat LH starters

Not worried about Pomeranz. In fact, I say that if we win Game 1 next week, we sweep Boston.

Sounds good to me, but we find ways to lose to LH starters, even when they give up runs to us early.

Has to be a lineup thing.

As expected on paper

If we clinch home over BOS, none of our playoff pitchers will be used extensively, IMO

I would not mind if they pulled the Game 3 starter from the Fenway series if so. Let Martes start or something.

NOTE: Boston has not seen Morton or Peacock this season.

Yeah, that's a no brainer.

On the subject of Fisher, I think the Astros liked his plate discipline numbers in the minors and he showed that early. But given his defensive liabilities, his offensive numbers better start showing some improvement.

With Marisnick out, some feel he has a spot, but I'm not so sure. He needs to look better at the plate.

Fisher is getting exposed by off speed.
