Enough is enough. TEAM REDSKINS

Does the Redskin name offend you so much that you can't go about your normal day to day activities? Are you currently active in any organization that is pushing to have the name changed or are you just pseudo-offended because you jumped on the wave of others who are offened?

Yea, Donald Sterling and I would have a quick word and laugh at the thought that there's a worse owner in American sports than Dan Snyder.

I'm not offended in any way with the Redskins name. I hope they keep it.

So, to your questions: No and no.

Of all the Indian names, this is the one that really should have been changed.
Instead, they hassled the Fighting Sioux.

So if redskin isn't a word you would use in civil conversations, why would it be acceptable to name a football team redskins?

I don't ever say "hey yankee!" or "hey viking!" or "hey celt!" either.

If I used the above terms would they be offensive and by your definition, racist?

Good for him. This dumb issue became the celebrity cause-of-the-day for awhile and it was about time someone called it out for the stupidity that it is.

I wonder how much of the media crusade against him is related to him trying to sue the Washington City Paper a couple of years ago.

The drive to ban the Native American team names and logos has been going for a while, but it seems like it's really ramped up heavily against Washington the past few years.

Only problem with Cleveland would be Chief Wahoo, which they've distanced themselves from recently.

From sissy, liberal white people who have to create agendas to push in our politically correct society to make themselves feel better.

"Hey! I know that you're not offended by the name, so damnit we will be offended by it for you!" - sissy white liberals

I've lived in the D.C. area since graduating college in 1973. The Skins are almost a religion here, though I have never been a fan of the team.

Dan Snyder is one of the biggest prick owners ever and I have refused to go to games. But his letter was spot on.

Are there even any Native American players on the team? Why not just change it to the Blacksins.
