He certainly does better than Norv Turner at identifying obviously injured offensive linemen that are getting blown up.

It's always crazy how the announcers can see something clear as day that coaches and players that get paid millions don't. It's like when Gary nails the next play on the CBS broadcasts.

Hard to see from sidelines, worse place to watch a game. The OL coach though had to know, but they probably didn't have anyone else.

NBC with him and Mayock (sp?) have solid color guys.

He also called about 3 other things on SD's final drive...one was about Ronnie Brown not knowing what play was being run, then he gave up a sack...and a couple of others that I don't remember off hand. Point is, this guy knows the game about as well as anyone and he sees important things very well.
