It is almost time for the yearly "not enough blacks in baseball" discussion, which is truly stupid. They are 13% of the US population and about that in the majors, BUT the pool the majors pulls from includes all of the Latin American countries so blacks are still over-represented in baseball.
But, hey, assuming blacks are underrepresented in a sport if they aren't 80% of it isn't racist or anything.
How come it is OK to acknowledge obvious physical differences and their effects on representation in sports but any discussion of intellect's effect on differences in representation anywhere else is completely taboo?
