Since 2012 in the postseason:

LSU (W)
Ohio State (W)
Oklahoma (W, blowout)
Oklahoma (W, blowout)
Bama (L)
Ohio State (W, blowout)

Overall record in that time: 59-9, average margin of victory 21.2 PPG

That program has been a machine since getting run in the 2011 Orange Bowl

Clemson will take the dynasty mantle from Bama and run with it. They unseat the Evil Empire this year.

saban will get four or five more nattys, retire and Dabo will take over for him and continue the dynasty for the next thirty years

Get ready lsu fans, you have another half century of bama domination to endure yet!

Dabo has done a hell of a job there. I remember most people doubted him when he came in.

Bama will give him a blank check when Saban retires. That plus bama being his alma mater will probably be too much to pass up.

He could pull a Les Miles though, but I doubt it.

I don't see Saban being at Bama that long

I don't know about dabo going to bama. dabo seems to really enjoy where he's at and can be his own legend. There's something to say for that

That win over LSU set the tone for that program IMO.

Their tradition of Clemming was in decline after that.

At Clemson he could be a legend, at Bama he'd just be another coach because he couldn't possibly top Saban and Bryant.

It's almost like we have earned the right to be arrogant.... I mean just during my time as a student at the university of Alabama, between 2007 and 2012, I was witness to three national titles....

Yeah, why would any baseball player ever sign with the Yankees when they could rule Milwaukee

Because the player would rather win than not win.

Dabo is gonna be the best, most winning coach ever at Clemson. He doesn't need to go to Bama to win.

Dumb comparison

Nobody is going to be able to meet the standard of excellence Saban has set. The expectations are going to be so fricking high it will be unbelievable.

You can rationalize it literally any way you want. Any argument for why he will or won't And you will, because you don't want him to go to Bama.

This is why the CC board is so successful. Everyone can speculate any possible direction and back it up with their rationale.

The fact is Dabo would hang up the phone and RUN to Alabama

I would be shocked if Dabo doesn't go to Bama after Saban retires.
