Cycling Fans: Milan-San Remo. Thoughts?

Holy shite. If you haven't watched the highlights of this race, do yourself a favor and check them out: LINK
For the uninitiated, Milan San-Remo is a 182 mile one-day classic race and is one of the 'Monuments' of cycling. It's the first monument of the season. The monuments are what the one-day classic specialists love for. These guys won't win a Grand Tour like the Tour de France or the Giro d'Italia (they're just too heavy for the high mountains) but they are frickin incredible cyclists with TONS of power.

That was a pretty good finish. I used to live in Philadelphia and got to watch the corestates cycling championship in person several times.

Kwiatkowski did over 530 watts for 5 minutes chancing down Sagan on the Pogio
Sagan is such a terrible tactician, but god damn he's fun to watch

Nah. From what I saw that was the Strava estimate. The real number (which is still absurd--especially in the middle of a 182 mile race) it was less than that.

That's not true. He played the only card he could and lost. His break-mates wouldn't work with him because they knew they'd get outsprinted if they contributed effort. He drug their arse to the line and STILL almost won.
Kwiatkowski has had Sagan's number several times. It's racing.

One thing though I've never seen Sagan fake being tired to encourage more help in breakaways
I'm not expecting Thomas Voeckler style but he should try it
