@JasonLaCanfora: From this morning - Cutler trade not likely. Coaching change imminent. Mike Shanahan would love to coach Jay again: LINK
I know the Bears fricked themselves with the Cutler contract but this would be the 3rd coach they've hired to get minimal effort from Cutler. Name another QB who's had this many chances with 0 SB's to show for it

Apparently y'all didn't see him lead da Bears to the Super Bowl last year.

My bad. I forgot Cutler was "injured" in the NFCCG that would have put the Bears in the Super Bowl. Also, further proves my point that Cutler's not worth the hassle

Unless they can get him to play O-line, rb and defense, it's not all Cutlers fault. The coaches have been pretty bad.

Alex Smith

At least 49ers got something in return for Smith. Titans are apparently interested in Cutler and if I were the Bears I would salvage whatever I could and ship him to Nashville

I always wondered how Smith's career would have progressed if he would have had the same playback for at least 2 years in his early career. At least he's in a consistent spot now.
As for Cutler, if he could get some protection (he is the most sacked QB in Bears history) I think he could be very productive. Not sure if Tennessee is that place though.

This would be a good combo for the Bears.

How about getting a OL for him to play behind.

Can't get a top flight o line abd supporting cast with all of that money tied up in a guy that puts himself over the team.

Alshon Jeffrey's and Brandon Marshall are some pretty good receivers

Clausen is tearing it up today. Cutler's time in Chicago is OVER

Care to change the title to reflect a question?

but but but the oline and defense are terrible!
the offense actually looks like a west coast system today. the claw is hitting the slants, not ashamed to throw the check downs, and sticking to the run. all things that help keep their defense off the field and help the oline out by not asking them to hold blocks for an eternity.
