I was a much better tthan average shooter in high school. Best I could ever do was 16 3 pointers in a row. 77 is beyond mind boggling. I almost can't believe it, wish I could have seen it. Dude is exhibiting when an incredible talent meets hard work.

You weren't shooting NBA 3's either....

Was about to say the same thing. I once hit 13 in a row from 19-9 and thought I was the shite.

Nba range 77 in a row. Like there is no way. One slight fault messes it up. I can't get over this one. Absolutely stunning

people just don't realize how good NBA players are. in that clip i posted arenas hit 73 of 100...with one hand

and arenas isn't "steph curry" at shooting

stephenson hit like 75 or 76 out of 100

For the most part, no. Though i liked shooting from the NBA distance, high schoolers don't guard that deep. I was strong enough to do it unlike a lot of high school kids.

What I don't want to say because then everyone will call bullshite, is that I did it in a 2v2 pickup game with other guys on the basketball team before practice.

I then missed every three I took in practice.

Steph Curry is the shooter in the NBA that everyone seemed to think JJ Reddick would be 10 years ago. Kid is ridiculous.

I saw Derek fricking Fisher hit 15 in a row in pregame, so this is believable for me. Think of all of the times Curry has shot 100 threes. He was bound to go on a crazy tear at some point.

If you have been to an NBA practice you would know most guards can easily hit around 75% of 3s, even shitty bigs hit well over 50%. The 77 in a row part is what is impressive.

If a shitty big can hit 50% in practice, he should be taking it when he gets it wide open at the top of the key as he is the last man up the court.

I disagree that most shitty big men can hit 50%.

I went to a Lakers practice for Valentines Day in like 2000 or 2001 and they did not miss. It didn't matter how much of a scrub the player was in games they did not miss when shooting around. I've seen tons of warm-ups and players hit most shots but in an empty building with like 50 people they did not miss. I never really realized how good NBA players were until that day. I mean I had seen them play, warm up and even played against NBA All-Stars but when you see them shoot in an empty gym it blows your mind.

I don't know what to say other than you are just wrong. Watch any NBA player shoot in an empty gym, the worst guys in an empty gym look better than Curry in a game. It's a trip.

yeah that's deshawn stephenson

and arenas did 73/100 with one hand...but he's not on curry's level (and i said that)

what curry did is amazing. i'm not directly comparing them. i'm saying most people don't understand how fricking ridiculous these guys are

where amazing happens

I would say most average to average shooters in NBA will shoot 65-75% from 3 unguarded.
But 77 in a row. And 94 of 100. Mind blogging. Best shooter in history yes.

Them and the 90s Bulls were the two best teams of my lifetime. That had to be fun to watch.
