the amount of strikeouts that murderer's throw gets for the yankees is pretty mind boggling.

They wont be getting Baez and Soler. Maybe one, but my gut tells me they give up neither. Schwarber either.

Gleyber Torres
Vogelbach
Candelario
Zagunis
Almora

one of 2 of those guys and maybe a project pitcher

Schwarber could have quite the career yanking balls into that short porch/jet stream

I honestly think they should try and keep them, they need to scrub the roster of these bloated salaries of older players.

Next year they lose Beltran and the following Tex, McCann, and I believe CC come off the roster. They need younger players which is what dealing both would mean.
Yankees have enough to have a quick rebuild if they do it right and if a couple minor league players step up.

there an old team with a weak farm system. If they can trade relievers for young players, they have to do it.

they rank middle of the pack farm system... Now that is based on potential as a couple of years ago they had a top 10 system until players got hurt but still.

middle tier in the preseason, but they have no real star, lacks pitching. And no one has really made the jump since the start of the season. Trending downward

Aaron Judge is struggling is Triple A, however, Parmalee, Romine, Refsnyder, Gamel, Cessa, Yates, Swarzkak, Blier, etc have participated this year. They have a ton of kids who have participated this year already.

just about all those dudes at 27 or older. you have a weird definition of prospect

Refsynder sucks

Cessa is 24, Romine 27, Refsynder 25, Goody 24, Olson 26, Shreve 25, and Sanchez 23.
Yates, Swazkak, Gamel, Mulee, Blier are over 26 but getting their first action, so they would still qualify as a "prospect" by definition. Maybe not Gamel as he has seen significant action in the majors with the Twins.

For pitchers I give the definition more lee-way since older players seem to step up each year.

if you are getting your first crack at MLB at 27 or 29, chances are you are not very good.

guys like Parmalee and Yates arent even Yankee grown for goodness sake.

Mateo looks promising, as does Sanchez's bat. Greg Bird showed promise last year. Who else are you excited about? Karpelian and Acevedo i guess.

they are closer to 20th than middle of the pack for me.

Well no joke, neither was Bautista for the Jays, they could be players that develop late.

everyone says the Yankees rank 12-18th currently as farm system is going. Now I don't believe in farm systems unless top 3 because of how hit or miss things are.

If the Cubs get those two, it's over for everyone else.

Cubs get Miller it shores up their bullpen if the rotation continues. If they get both it is WS or bust for them.

Who the hell is black & markey?

I'm gonna be pissed when Schwarber goes. It's gonna happen. He's a DH or 1b convert. We have our future C (pretty sure) & there's no place in the OF. Buuuuut, why now? His trade value can't be all that high considering his knee is all jacked. Take Soler, Schwarber lite errrr.... Volgelbach & edwards.

Well the Cubs and Nats both could have used either one just now.

Cashman had to be watching that game like
