I hope that he coaches at least 5 years post-Brady. I think that he'll continue to win games but not sure if there will be a drop-off or none at all. I'm not attempting to make any kind of point but just curious whether the success will be on a similar level (i.e. will he win a SB or two within a 5 year post-Brady era)?

I don't like the Pats but I respect what Belichick has done; I doubt we will see another coach accomplish as much as he has anytime soon, much like his protege Saban at Alabama.

I guess your division will have trouble if each team can chalk up two losses each year to the Patriots. Same can be said about the Steelers who get to play Cleveland and Cinci twice each year. Or Denver who got to play a pathetic Oakland and hapless SD team for the last decade (accept this year.) And the Chiefs were 66 and 94 between 2003 and 2013. or Indy who has the 3 NFL Juggernauts in Houston, Jacksonville and Tennessee each year. If you division has one of the best teams in football, guess what, you are going to have a losing season more often than not.

They have the best in division record in the NFL since 2001, somewhere very close to 76-22.
In other words, 5-1 more seasons than not.
The Patriots are great, no doubt, but there is no way that you can argue that they don't benefit from being in a HORRIBLE division. They play three of the absolute worst teams in football six times a year, every year.

7-3 in a 10 game stretch equates to 11.2 wins a year with the same rate of winning in a 16 game schedule. I think the division argument is kind of weak. The Pats average 12.2 wins a year as is over the past 16 years, so playing in their division has basically accounted for one more win every year than their wins per year would be out of division. Seems it hasn't benefited them as much as you're making it out to be.

Don't forget the fact that bill won 2 more Super Bowls with the giants under parcells. And went to a super bowl with the pats under parcells.

Bill is great but he was also blessed with a great QB. He is 78-73 in games without BRADY starting.

yea, i mean even a team like buffalo who hasnt made the playoffs since the 90s i believe would have some appearances mixed in if they hadnt lost like 98% of their pats matchups the last decade and a half
