Is he a Cubs fan? Or is this what you want that you for some reason just hope he is still alive for?

I assumed he was. Surprised I didn't know this. I wonder if he favors the bulls.

I know he's not doing well at all, but is he for sure on his last leg? Stuart Scott tore me/us up pretty hard. Sager would be the second famous person to hurt my feelings with his death. Didn't grow up with him or anything, but damn, he seems like a great guy.

it's like they're letting him scratch off everything on his bucket list before he goes to the man upstairs.

sad to say but it doesn't sound too far from now.

In both cases I watched their condition get worse and worse and worse until it happened. Serioudly man frick cancer

Stuart Scott was tough for me as well, as I had been watching him on television for as far back as I could remember. Same with Sager, I've seen him with a mic in hand on the sideline basically my entire life. Now as you learn more about a person and how they battle, it makes it tougher when it seems they are nearing the end.

Especially the ones who are so full of life and personality. It's hard to see them so broken down physically. It seems unimaginable.

Great people like Craig Sager die every single day. It's awful for casual observers like us and especially awful for the families, no doubt about it. However, I believe that people like him create more positivity in the world through their fight than sadness due to their struggle. Unfortunately, people need reminders that life is precious. People need to be reminded that you can truly enjoy every day despite the awful circumstances surrounding you. Though no one wants to see genuine people pass, they leave more love and positivity in their wake than sadness.

I'm sure for Craig, his food has tasted better, his hugs with his loved ones have been tighter, and each morning has been more beautiful than all the days prior to his illness. He's got a lovely wife, a number of healthy children and has been fortunate enough to spend his entire career doing what he truly loves. Craig Sager is a lucky man, and I'm sure he'd tell you the same.

The suits will disappear, but the memories will live on. It would be awesome to see the Inside the NBA crew rock some ugly arse suits next year to honor him
