you can't tell me that this squad wouldn't TROUNCE the Browns for starters.

That sqaud would also be 1st year NFL players not the players they are now. So no, they wouldn't

9/10 years no. But it depends the worst team usually has a lot of rookies are those rookies clones or do they not go on the all-rookie team

To me this comes down to simple math. Given the very short career span of a NFL player, rookies comprise about 10-20% of the players each season. You would only have to cherry pick 1-2 best rookies from each team. It would be way more talented than the worst team in the league. I guess it would come down to coaching or experience. But no reason it shouldn't win..

some years. and your all stars have a year of NFL under their belts.

once upon a time, the college all stars would play the defending NFL champ before the season.
an NFL rookie all star team led by all world QB Otto Graham won.
He won titles in pro basketball and pro football.

see below from his wiki.

quote:

Took the Browns to league championship games every year between 1946 and 1955, winning seven of them. With Graham at quarterback, the Browns posted a record of 114 wins, 20 losses and four ties, including a 9–3 win–loss record in the playoffs. While most of Graham's statistical records have been surpassed in the modern era, he still holds the NFL record for career average yards gained per pass attempt, with 8.98. He also holds the record for the highest career winning percentage for an NFL starting quarterback, at 0.814. Long-time New York Yankees owner George Steinbrenner, a friend of Graham's, once called him "as great of a quarterback as there ever was."[1] He is also known for being one of only two people (the other being Gene Conley—Milwaukee Braves in the 1957 World Series and three Boston Celtics championships from 1959–61) to win championships in two of the four major American sports—1946 NBL (became NBA) and AAFC Championship, plus 3 more AAFC and 3 NFL championships.

Why not? Every position would be filled with solid players

You dont know this. There are plenty of nfl rookies that suck even though they were thought of as cant miss prospects.
Just because a player is drafted it doesnt mean he is a solid nfl player.

You're telling me Cam Newton gets a WR trio of Julio Jones, AJ Green and Randall Cobb, Demarco Murray, defense has JJ Watt, Von Miller and Richard Sherman, and they don't have a shot to beat the worst team in the league?

As rookies? 9 times out of 10 the veteran team wins. Really productive rookies are the outliers.
The rookie cbs would be taken to task on just about every play. Outside of qb , cb is the position most rookies struggle at. You rarely hear about rookie cbs playing well.
As a rookie watt wasnt the player he is now. He had 5.5 sacks as a rookie.
Im not saying that the rookie team couldnt win a game, but they would lose way more than they would win

I'm not saying it'd be a blowout, but to say they don't have a shot, come on.

The worst team in the league would be working with the same system/scheme all year, whereas the rookies would just be thrown together for ... how long?

Which team do rookies playing for the worst team play for, by the way?
