Are they going after him, and if so would we have to give up bregman, if so, don't want.

For Bregman? No thanks.

Such a trade could only involve AJ Reed and not Bregman for the Astros to even consider pulling the trigger.

Have you been reading the DAT? Tread lightly in that thread, amigo.

Edit: haven't seen it mentioned anywhere else other than the DAT. I'm sure the Stros would inquire about him though if available. Along with 15 other teams, probably.

It's like Heaven and Hell for Astros fans. So basically, it's awesome.

Myers is on pace for38 homers 22 sb and a 285 average at age of 25. Give any prospects for that

I certainly wouldn't mind having him.

But let's be real. If the Stros trade for anything it needs to be starting pitching

Counter-argument: There will be slim if any top starters available (Astros don't need backend guys). So you strengthen in other areas of weakness where talent may be available.

Julio Teheran
Matt Moore
Jake Ordorizzi
Drew Pomeranz
Sonny Gray
Jimmy Nelson

all could be had for some good prospects...

Out of those guys, only Gray do I trust to be at least No. 2 starter quality if healthy. However, I do think Pomeranz has finally figured it out.

Julio has been a #1 for a couple of years
Moore has been as well

I don't trust either one of them. Teheran leaving that friendly ballpark and not always pitching to his stuff. Moore is so up and down.

I'd prefer the Astros not pay the prices for them. But, I think you at least see how much Archer would cost with Tampa just to get a general idea.

Archer as well could be available, I forgot about him

julio over the last 3 years has a 4.13 ERA away and a 2.66 ERA at home and has yet to pitch at Minute Maid.

Moore has a 0.00 ERA at Minute Maid at least

Moore is left handed so he basically had the magic formula to shut down the Astros the past couple of seasons.
