The new OC might have the greatest name on this earth

@AdamSchefter: Updated: Lions new offensive coordinator is the team's QB coach Jim Bob Cooter.

Jim Bob might have to let Mathew Stafford have some of his patented Cooter Special Sauce

Stupid question here, but does each assistant coach (OL, RB's, etc.) have assistants? How can they fill that void so quickly?

"Hey Cooter, we got rid of Lombardi, Washburn and Heffernan - who's in the cupboard that we can promote ASAP?!"

You rarely hear that the OC & OL coaches get ax'ed at the same time unless it's during the offseason where they have ample time to find suitable replacements. If anyone cares to explain it, TIA

Cooter will have that offense running smoother than the General Lee in no time.
