Don't even matter. This is so ridiculous. Basically a Senior in HS whose a great hitter for his age going up against a MLB pitcher say, Randy Johnson throwing it 102 mph and the kid now has a wooden bat. That's about how I view this. Oh and this kid has to hit a home run.

This is the downside of this fight. Guys like you who dont understand the difference between "different skillset" and "not as skilled".

Floyd is by far and away a better boxer (obviously. he may be the best ever and Conor isnt even a proffesional "boxer"). But that doesnt mean Conor just sucks and cant punch. He has a different skillset for a different sport. Kudos to him for making all the concessions in this battle.

Ill tell you this...for the first time in Floyds career he will look across the ring and know that the guy across the ring can kick his arse. Thank god for rules and contracts. It blows my mind that people argue that Floyd is a better "fighter". Thats more laughable than saying Conor is a better boxer.

Put it this way. People say that Conor will not touch Floyd in a pure boxing match. I think we all know this is not true. He will land some.

BUT...if you allowed leg kicks, Floyd would 100% not lay a hand on him.

Honestly, if Floyd doesn't knock out McGregor, I think it should be held against him.

23 wins by knock out, and it needs to be 24.

If Floyd can't knock McGregor that's going to be embarrassing. Expect a TKO by the 6th imo and the only reason it gets that far is if Floyd wants to give the fans a show. Floyd could end this 2-3 rounds if he wanted.

Stop embarrassing yourself. This is going to be settled in a "boxing" ring and Connor has zero business being in a boxing match with Floyd. I can give a shite about his "skill set". All that matters is can he Box and the answer is no.

Kudos for getting the "Joe Blow" public believing this should even be an event. That's all the credit I'll give Connor. It's a brilliant money grab, that's it.

Who even cares about anything except how this fight will be seen and measured? You don't think Floyd has ever thought he could possibly lose a boxing match? It's not like this ends up in the streets like Rocky 5 after the boxing match "Oh but Connor would beat him in a real fight"!!! Who gives a shite this is a boxing match.

Cool... Conor will land under 10% of punches and Floyd will land 35-40% if Conor is lucky.

fricking awesome take Here in the real world this is a boxing match and this line of thinking is all you Conor supporters will have left after the match but but but. Everyone agrees Conor wins in a street fight.

I don't disagree with you. I'm not disillusioned at all. I'm glad Conor is getting paid.

I think Floyd will win 95/100. Don't know what else I can say.

The fact that this fight is even happening is a damn joke and a insult to boxing fans. Anyone who buys it is a damn fool.

Literally everything you posted was about sucking off Conor and how his "skill set" made this a fight. I understand you sucking up after I had to destroy each of your talking points but let's not act like you didn't deserve it.

I go in peace and god bless...

The frick is this shite?

It's a BOXING match, not a cage fight. Who gives a frick who kicks better?

And besides, your irrelevant post isn't even correct as Mayweather is a much better boxer than McGregor is MMA fighter. Many make a strong argument Mayweather is the best pound for pound boxer ever, whereas literally nobody even attempts to say McGregor is the best MMA fighter ever in any capacity.

this.

Mayweather and McGregor will be like me playing one on one basketball with Anthony Davis. I could have a "skill set" but it won't matter when I'm just outquicked, outjumped, etc.

I agree. But I think you'll find that the analysis has gone beyond boxing and people are just straight up saying Floyd is a better fight which I find silly

It's irrelevant, but I don't think it's absurd. Mayweather is significantly faster than McGregor and has the ability to knock any similarly sized human out with one punch. He'd hit most people before they even knew the fight was on. All the MMA skills in the world won't change that.

This would be a more interesting fight if grappling and kicks were allowed

I agree. But CM would destroy if those were allowed.

Floyd is a much better puncher. He's not a better overall fighter.

I guess my problem is I'm considered irrational for saying that Floyd wins 95/100 (by Floyd supporters) yet some fat frick from chalmette thinks he is to Anthony Davis what a two way champ in the UFC is to a boxing great and people think thats a legit point.

When mcgregor sleeps this fool and ends the sport of boxing he will go down as the greatest combat sports hero of all time. Not to mention the greatest mouthpiece in sports.

Floyd and McGregor will both probably be smiling ear to ear for the whole boring fight. Knowing they got millions of people to buy this crappy fight.
