Good job, now get to class.
Their semester is over. The school pushed finals up to this week because of the game

Does Southern not play in a conference that has a postseason?

The SWAC, live the IVY league, does not participate in the FCS playoffs. They make more money off the Bayou Classic than they would if they won the FCS championship.

Amazing turn around for these kids - having gone 2-9, 4-7 and 4-7 the last three years.
Dray Joseph, Lee Doss, Virgil Williams - some terrific players that will go down in Southern lore as perhaps the senior class that brought the Jags back to the top of the SWAC.
These kids lost their first two games by something like a combined 95 points and were down 35-10 late in the third quarter of their 3rd quarter before eventually coming back to win - epitomizes these kids' season and what they've gone through in their tenure on The Bluff

I read that Tony Clayton wants GSU out of the classic. He was saying something like SU brings in most of the money and he feels like GSU isnt doing their part.

That's true but nobody at Southern likes Tony Clayton

Bad idea. The only thing keeping it on TV is tradition.

I think Lee Doss and Virgil Williams has a legitimate shot to make an nfl team.

Doss is very legitimate. His ability to catch the ball in traffic is second to none.
I worry about both guys top-end speed, but I think it's less of a concern for Doss because he's a slot guy.

Who likes Tony Clayton anyway?

SU and J State is a better rivalry than SU/GSU.
Team wise, fan wise and band wise. I see more J State trash talk than Gram trash talk from SU folks.

It's definitely a more 'hatred' rivalry.
SU-GSU is more of a family get together to celebrate HBCU success and each other.

I agree but nobody outside the SWAC knows that and it's contrary to what they've been broadcasting nationally on NBC for years.

One year both Granbling and Southern had white quarterbacks at the Bayou Classic (and a really cool white tuba player).

When I went there back from 2001-2003, our SGA president was white. I think he used to post here. Mike foster was also a student before I enrolled there. Things are changing for the better at HBCUs

You have to be kidding me. Southeastern in the postseason for the 1st time in a good minute and you all are world beaters? GTF

What year did Grambling have a white QB?
