Congrats Penn State!!Let's review the season.

You have turned around a program that was left for dead a couple years ago from a terrible scandal. You have a young-energetic coach that (media) said needed replace in the early season. Won the conference title of the "Best Conference" in 2016 (according to media). Whipped Ohio State (#2 team most of year according to media) when all chips where on the table.ect...
Still to go win the Rose Bowl (Granddaddy of the all- according to media).
Finish with a higher rankings in the polls than the team that the media said was better than you, that you have already beat.

i find it kind of appalling that they are even in a position like this to begin with. Nothing has changed at Penn St within the football culture that would prevent the same thing from happening again there. They still deny deny deny and defend Joe Pa religiously. Football first no matter what from its fanbase to its donors and alum. They fricking CELEBRATED Peterno this season LINK That fan base and that culture that surrounds that program is still the toxic mess that it was before.
If there was ever a modern day text book situation to use the death penalty on a program...that was it right there.
We are talking about the systemic enabling of fricking child rape inside Penn St that went all the way up to the institution's administration. That went on for DECADES people. DECADES! All to protect the football program, Unbelievable...more unbelievable that many have already "forgotten"

Rose Bowl is going to be a great game. Hopefully PSU brings it home. frick the Big 10 though.

I didn't think it was right for Penn State to get left out. I feel for the football team......just not for the fans. If it were going to happen to anyone, I'm fine with it being the cult like pedo sympathizers of Penn State.

Penn State shouldn't have ever been in this position, as in they should have killed the program. That would have been the right thing to do IMO.

Warming up to the idea, although I'm not sure being in a conference with UNC would be any better.
Delaney is a POS (for many reasons) and puts the screws to PSU any chance he gets.
My dream would be for the Eastern Conference to be formed.

I think Penn State and the Big Ten proponents are just feeling fortunate they don't have to lineup against Alabama.
