Blame the NCAA for sanctioning so many bowl games.

If a team takes a bid at 5-7, especially when you're talking a month of practice if you have a young team, then have at it. If Kentucky is in that situation with a bunch of freshman and sophomore playmakers and Barker potentially taking over at QB, I'll take it.

Not our fault there are too many bowl games. And I don't think it's a given yet that they are in at 5-7

I was referring to is there enough teams that aren't 6-6 thus allowing for the Huskers to get in at 5-7?

And I also think it's pathetic that they get a bowl at 5-7

You're right.

I have no idea why HHM seems to think its already a lock that 5-7 teams will make it in.

You had 17(5 win teams) for 9 spots heading into the week..Washington got in and you probably will have UK and maybe a couple others.

I'm sure Neb will be selected over fanbases like Buffalo and Illinois.

Ill
Ind
Minn
VT
ECU
Tulsa
UW
UK
Buffalo(down to 2 win UMASS currently)
KSU
ODU
GSU

8 more spots to fill and theres no question Neb would be the first one picked at 5-7.

UK, Minn, Ill, KSU(next week), and ODU will all be underdogs.

If Arkansas was 5-7 this year and somehow landed a bowl invite I'd be thrilled to take it. Yeah, its pretty darn humbling, but when you have a young team every single practice means a lot. Plus the chance for a 5-7 team to finish the year with win... it might not put them at .500 for the season but it feels a lot better to carry into the off season.
