Funny how ESPN's college football analysts overlook LSU every year or down plays them even with all that NFL talent and all.

I wonder how many of the "I prefer defensive struggles" guys would also argue that soccer has too little scoring...

I prefer games that are 13-17 or 21-24 or so. This doesn't mean that a 45-38 game would be boring, it would be fun too. But its an outlier, the same as a 9-6 games is.

I just don't find TD's as exciting and joyful when you score 10 of them each in a game.

Soccer is regularly 1-0, 2-1, 0-0, 0-2. fricking ties on a regular basis, that's why I don't like soccer all that much.

Defensive struggle doesn't always mean 9-6. Defensive struggles can be 17-13 too. That's 5 scores.

That says a lot more about you than me. Hyperbole much?

What doesn't make sense about not wanting to watch a game completely devoid of defense? Yes I like big plays and exciting plays but when teams are going for 20+ each play more often than not and taking a minute or two to score that kind of cheapens the idea of a big play. When there is absolutely no defensive resistance that gets boring pretty fast To ME. Again I see nothing wrong with having solid defensive play to compliment good offense. I hope that is crystal clear enough for you but please feel free to go on being a hemorrhaging vagina.

Oregon's going to be scary good now that they are starting to develop a really good defense.

Best teams to watch:

1. Your favorite team

2. A team you hate losing

3. A huge rivalry game

4. Conference foes

HM: The late game you stay up for to sober up

Since very few can be objective about how their favorite team actually plays...this is probably the right answer.

But I'd just as soon watch a huge rivalry game than a Kiffin called game compared to Carroll's Trojans.

...and sometimes a huge rivalry/build-up can't cover-up for the dullness on the field...See November 5, 2011.

Both sides of the ball are more talented than ever. It's exciting times for Duck fans.
