I don't recall ever hearing this topic discussed before.

And it should have been.

25 is too close.

Who decided on that stupid shite.

I've always said the 50. Make them truly have to drive into FG range.

That's partly my point....Almost everyone I talk to agrees it should be the 35yardline or further back. so it's strange to me that this never gets any push or more talk/discussion, or maybe it does in meetings and we just never hear about it?

CFL overtime rules turn a really good 17-17 game into a 56-55 monstrosity that doesn't even resemble the regulation game that preceded it.

it increases the scoring chances and keeps the game from going too many OT's

or it just lets each team score over and over.

I have never liked the 25 always thought it should be the 35.

But now i really like the start at 25 then move back 5 each time. But i would make it to where you only move back 5 on a Multi scoring OT session.

So OT1 both teams score a TD move back 5 yards.
OT2 neither team scores, ball doesnt get moved back.
That way you dont get back to like the 40 and neither team can score and you just keep moving 5 yards back each time

Maybe just move it back to the 30 and make all FG attempts have a minimum distance, like 35 yards.

I just hope it stays the same in theory. The NFL method is lame.
