According to Sagarin TCU has played the #46 schedule and Baylor has played the #124 schedule. If computers take into account SOS why does this not make sense?
Also computers give more weight to road wins, TCU has 3 road wins over teams with winning records and Baylor has 0.

I am pretty sure most of the computer polls on that list only take into account wins, losses, strength of opponent and where the game was played.
My computer model takes into account a lot more factors, and still has Baylor #1. TCU #12 is, and Michigan State #42.

That seems about right for a computer model at this point in the season. Not sure any of that is outlandish or surprising.
