Cal is an interesting team this year. They kind of seem on the same plane as LSU. Uber talented freshmen who are probably gone next season. Unlike the Kentuckys and Dukes of the world, they aren't guaranteed to reload.

Untrue, my momma is a good woman. The last memory I have of Georgetown is them losing to a 15 seed in the tournament and feeling really bad for them (it was probably right after the Lehigh game). I don't mind when Duke loses bad to them. The game I remember before that was GTown beating Duke baaaad in front of Obama, and I think that was in 2010, and I know what happened that year.

Goal for this year: Make the tourney. I think this team will get better and better as the year goes on, but they're so damn young. I think there's talent there (they need Pritzl healthy and to contribute at the guard spot).

The five game stretch from Oklahoma to Marquette will be huge. Beating Oklahoma would be especially huge. After that, going .500 in the Big Ten should get you into the tournament.

Agreed. Gotta find a rhythm and hit some shots. Bronson needs to start showing up with more regularity.

Duke is in the same position as Wisconsin, losing a ton of players and talent. Fortunately we're a basketball school .
