Colin Cowherd - Has he always tried to interject politics into his radio show?

I've listen to him on and off for years but this year he has seemed to be more and more political.

He's race baiting now with the NBA throws a punch they're a thug, NASCAR does and it's cool.

This board is the epitome of the south and on the cover of TD the comments are making fun of redneck trash about the NASCAR fight. So he's dead wrong.

I turned it off as soon as he started with that weak political troll.

He's got a bit of a point here.

he just saw how easy it was to troll NASCAR fans after the Stewart incident, I guess he's going back for more.

Well, he's not really wrong.

It reminds me of the Broncos game yesterday. Denver had a bad penalty on defense that saved Tom's drive. The camera shows Peyton's reaction and he's frustrated and shaking his head. Of course, because it's Peyton, his reaction is okay because "he knows how important that stop was" or "he's just a big time competitor".

If Cam did that, he's being immature or not being a leader.

Do you not agree with this?
It's accepted to fight in Hockey and Nascar (predominately white sports) but anytime a NBA player gets in a fight he looked at like a thug.

It's true, he's just not tip toeing around it like your used to with the media.

Agree, although NASCAR is widely panned as a redneck sport/league. People would shite bricks if comedians and sports writers regularly alluded to the NBA as a thuggy league/sport.

What exactly is false about that assessment?

Still too small of a sample size.

Not to defend nascar but fight over some wrecking you on propose makes more sense than a hard foul.

A) I don't feel people look at the NBA as thuggish if there is a shoving match on the court among players. I'm sure someone on twitter says that, but I personally don't find it thuggy and I think most neutral sports fans just accept it as part of the game. However, I think Artest and off court stuff taints how the country looks at the NBA.

B) Fighting in hockey is different. I don't follow hockey but I know enough to recognize that fighting has a much larger role in the sport than in NBA or NASCAR.

C) NASCAR is viewed as a redneck sport where the drivers are hot heads and the fans are trashy. Hence, not a lot of need to label Gordon trashy when it is pretty assumed that everything about NASCAR is already trashy.

That's the perception but it doesn't make it true.

Yes maybe just in the NASCAR world it does but let's get the opinion of NBA on NASCAR. Everyone think's their family are class acts. The point is moot and he is clearly trolling for ratings.

The same would be said about manziel.

The nascar is a legit point but they are just as big POS as people fighting in the NBA

It's the same shite. He tells you everyday that he's a West Coast guy...he's an Obama/Democrat...he likes progressive, forward thinking...he's into the whole "tech scene", he loves the coast, he loves Seattle, Portland, San Francisco, San Diego, LA, Dallas, Chicago, Miami, New York....he hates heavy food, he doesn't like the South, he's a Pac 12 guy...I can write a freaking biography on him after listening to a few shows.

Is that because one has played in two superbowls, broken nearly every passing record in the NFL and one has barely scratched the surface in the NFL or are you reaching for something else...

I don't know how fair that is though. Manziel became famous, and then proceeded to get into trouble and act out constantly.

Cam became famous, and really never did anything controversial after that point besides pout.

So being successful means you're entitled to act that way? That shows immaturity and lack of leadership, imo.
