Miami didn't sign anyone that will have a significant effect on the team next year.
Only the all-time leading 3 point shooter in NBA history who will have wide open looks for the majority of games with Bron & Wade driving to the hole.
eta- You sound like you are assuming Ray Allen will still be injured NEXT season. I don't think he will be.

Well considering I don't view Dwight Howard as considerably much of an upgrade over Bynum, no, they aren't better than the Heat. Not after the signings the Heat have made over the last week.
This why does everyone think he is SO much better?

Beats me bro.
Is Dwight Howard better than Bynum? Yes. Is he considerably better? No.

Defensively Howard is significantly better. The gap on offense isnt as big, but Howard is still better.

Its crazy to see this point posted over and over. Andrew Bynum is basically Mr. Glass. Last season is the first year he has not missed significant time due to injury. The odds are pretty high that his body is going to break down, especially as he ages. Add to this that he is a much worse defensive player than howard. I think Howard would excel in LA with Nash feeding him easy baskets and Kobe there to relieve pressure and add constant motivation. I see him as a massive upgrade over Bynum. And I hate the fricking Lakers.

Given Howards current condition, i'd say the odds of Howard breaking down are higher.

Yeah, many people are ignoring the fact that Howard is injured all together, or downplaying the significance of his injury.

Jason Lloyd of the Akron Beacon Journal writes that there is "nothing to these [Dwight Howard] trade rumors" involving the Cavaliers, Lakers and Magic.
Lloyd is a reputable beat writer and we're pronouncing the time of death for this latest rumor -- the theoretical deal was Dwight to the Lakers, Andrew Bynum to the Cavs, and picks and prospects to the Magic. The teams may have talked about it, but maybe they didn't, and maybe it was a story planted by one source or another for their own ends. At the end of the day it's just another lousy chapter in the Dwight-demands-a-trade debacle.
I guess i was right.
