Cheapest seats are $850 right now, I'm thinking about buying 4-6 to take some family. How much do you honestly think they drop if Cubs don't make it? $100, half? I mean they may double if the Cubs do, big risk here.

The Cubs are one win away, so that's priced in some ready. When they clinch it will go up, but not double.
I'd buy now.

I'm not worried about them going up, it's I don't want to lose a huge amount if Dodgers make it.

It appears tickets in Kansas City in 2014 ad 2015 were over $800. Not sure if that's average or cheapest?

I don't know, I could see tickets going sky high when Cubs clinch. Cleveland is closer to east coast and 1/3 the price of Chicago tix. I could see that market going huge just so people can watch the Cubs play.

If you're not worried about them going up then just wait.

Ha, well I mean I just won't buy them and won't go if they go up. So yes I'm worried about it, but I'm not looking to make money I mean.

You're all over the place, my friend. Flip a coin and live with it.

Yeah I don't get it. Right now it's more likely to increase (Cubs win series) than decrease (Dodgers win series. And there's no guarantee that it will even decrease.

All I'm trying to figure out is how much normal outfield tickets in the World Series go for without a big team inflating them. I believe tickets will go up to $1200+ from $800 if Cubs do win, that prices me out. I can't afford Wrigley tickets. So my options are either buy now and risk them losing, or don't go.

If I buy 4-6 tickets now and they drop to $500 if the Cubs lose, I really don't want to eat $2500.

Exactly. I think he answered his own question. Not worried about them going up, but worried about buying and losing money.

But I guess that doesn't make much sense. If you buy and they go down $400, isn't that the same thing as not buying and they go up $400 from where they are now?

I am confuse.

How would you lose money? Are you going to sell them if the Dodgers make it? If not, you're gonna pay what you're gonna pay, not sure how you'd lose anything.

Just buy them and don't look at the prices again. And enjoy the game and the experience of going.

I'm not paying $850 to watch Dodgers- Cleveland, furthermore as said I'm buying at least 4 and the other 3 people don't want to either.

My point is if they go up I just won't go. The price is too high, I can live with that. So my only bet is the Cubs lose so I need to sell them, how much do outfield tickets on avg for the World Series go for? No one has remotely answered that question yet.

That can't be answered because the price is affected by many things, which change every year.

I paid around $400 for outfield seats in the 2007 WS in Denver. Not sure if that helps.
