This was an exciting game until the refs decided they can't allow #2 to lose at home to a Sunbelt team. fricking bullshite.

What's sad is it appears the officials were not blowing the whistle to see if the RB would break the plane, even after forward progress stopped, but once they realized the ball came loose, they said they blew the whistle. Straight up mafia shite right there.

The whistle started to blow as the defender was breaking away downfield. It was complete bs.

I'd say that was a double rig. Refs waited longer than usual expecting Clemson to finally punch it in. Any other situation the whistle would've blown 5 seconds earlier.

Exactly. I was sitting her saying to myself "well I guess they'll let Clemson keep pushing until he gets it in". Then out comes the ball and as soon as the refs realized what was going on hey finally blew the whistle.... After Troy already had the ball 10 -15 yards up the field. The refs straight up rigged the game. I can't even watch any more of it. I've flipped over to Pitt v. Penn State.

Exactly. I get the whole "forward momentum is stopped" but I'm sure if he would've pushed into the endzone, it would've been a TD. But no whistle, no push into endzone, fumble, then a whistle...should've been Troy's ball and a TD
