The more I read about it this could be the GOAT pitched game. I know it wasn't a perfect, but it had nothing to do with him. Everything you mentioned (no one had ever had 15 Ks with no hits and walks), also against the best offense in the MLB in average, only 107 pitches, and only reached a 3 ball count once.

Impressive.

The only thing that was suspect was the saved hit down the 3B line...

Ah yes. He did give up a hit though. That game was incredible too.

Had to come in here and comment. Unbelievable night at Dodgrr Stadium tonight! It was only my second time here and first time in nearly ten years and I witnessed history tonight! We're on a California ballpark tour right now and just so happened to be at the game tonight. It was amazing from the get to but on that note...thanks for nothing Hanley.

Hanley botched a routine play. kershaw was perfect in every aspect. That curveball to end the 8th was amazing, and he commanded that pitch all game long. He deserved a perfect game, and as far as I'm concerned, it was perfect

Yep. But he was hit in his throwing hand my a liner the night before and had to leave the game. His right ring finger was x rayed but was negative.

I am excited by Sean Kemp going 3 for 4 continuing his turn around..
