but defense wins championships. When you cant stop a 3-7 Illinois team on your home field, thats alarming.

I'm not claiming that Cincinnati should play for the national title. Their defense leaves a lot to be desired. They are still a good team that can beat anyone in the nation if a few breaks go their way.
