Almost two weeks into the season and not only are they not out of the playoffs yet, they have--as of right now--the best record in baseball.

Typically at this point in the season they are already five games back and out of the race.

I'm going to enjoy it until it ends which will be quick if we keep running Bronson Arroyo out there every fifth day.

Has a franchise lost more talent to free agency than the Reds over the last decade or so?

Don't get too excited. It is partly because they have played the Cardinals some.

I can't wait till Arroyo is gone. Feels like I just got done saying that, they finally cut him and the next year they resign him.

They have some nice young hitters but I'm not sure their pitching will hold up.

I wish they wouldn't have traded Frazier and Bruce away last year. They would've been nice Veterans to go with the young hitters and Votto

If anything, they waited too long to trade Frazier. Should have traded him before the trade deadline in 2015 when his value was highest.

Would have been hilarious if he was traded days after winning the home run derby in Cincinnati, which is why he wasn't traded btw

They're playing great, and Votto has had a very slow start. But....IIRC, he had a slow start last year too, and still had one hell of a season.

I'm going to a game on May 20th, so by then I'm sure they will be in last place.
