It's not really being made much of a deal, so I don't see how it's overblown.

If it's for the best player on the best team, then Henry would be the choice.

Bama isn't the best team though

Was he touched on the play? Hmm, this guy had more uncontested yards than anyone I've ever seen. Next in line of disappointing Saban backs in the NFL, nothing more, nothing less. Hope he's been putting away some of the REC money.

I hate to sound like defending a Bama player, but different years are different. You can't have some measuring stick standard of X # of yards because other players will have different stats and different circumstances. And while it should not be a factor, Wisconsin was 10-3 going into the Heisman ceremony, vs 12-1 SEC Champ headed to the playoff.

I realize circumstances are different season to season, but all we heard last year is this isn't a RB award. This was an award that goes to a more valuable position. Then, the very next year a RB who had a substantially worse year and he's considered the Heisman front runner? It makes no sense and is only because he's from Bama.

Also, no intelligent person ever has cared about team records with RBs. Sanders is considered by some to be the GOAT RB, and his team never did a damn thing.

McCaffrey is the most outstanding FB player and is more deserving of the Heisman because of how versatile he is

I disagree. This seemed like a campaign from the beginning to create exposure. Why have your star player exposed that much to contact? The only reward was some yardage.

Boy the gumps sure are insecure about Baby Huey. Is he entitled to the Heisman or something?

This is "SEC is the only true football" mentality rearing it's ugly head.
