He's a great coach. Washington front seven is just going to be too outmatched I feel. I think you may see it get like that sec title game where Bama was running for 10 yds/play on Georgia. I do think it may take until late in 2nd /3rd before Bama starts to impose their will though.

Seems more genuine than Meyer. Bama going to crush them if they don't screw around.

Washington is here a couple years too early. He'll turn Washington into a true west coast powerhouse though.

I expect Washington to win a national title within the next 5 years, Peterson is a great coach

i'm actually starting to feel that U-dub can pull the upset

i think that if UW can keep it a defensive struggle Bama may press and make a mistake late. there are only a few coaches that i would feel confident in saying that they could out-coach Saban and CP is one of those guys

The only shot Washington has is that Petersen is amazing with time to prepare. However, so is Nick Saban.

I follow UW closely, I would love to see them win but they're gonna get killed. Their defense hasn't been the same since stud pash rusher Joe Mathis went down. They just can't get any pressure right now.

Saban is due for a humbling loss/close win

i think Saban has more distractions during this prep, though. that + Hurts makes me think that Udub may be able to keep it close and low scoring

If Peterson ever went to a USC type program where 5* talent just falls in your lap he'd be unstoppable. Due is maybe the best pure football coach in college today. But the thing is, he'll never do it. Just isn't wired that way.

I bet an NFL team will make a run at him soon. I think he'd fit perfectly there with how he prepares and how good he is at talent evaluation and development. I could easily see him taking over the Seahawks in a few years when Pete retires.

How is bama's secondary? I know jackson is out but they seemed to have several other guys get hurt late in the year. I'm guessing most are back though. Just havent paid that close attention.

the fact that he already turned down USC (allegedly) makes me think that he's a CFB lifer

some guys just enjoy the whole "recruit your type of kid and develop them and be proud of it all" mentality

Kiffin's cute early-game playcalling ought to keep it close. UDub can win if they protect the ball and strike down the field at the right times.

yeah i agree

if they make early mistakes i think they just dig too deep of a hole

i think Bama is much more likely to possibly risk early mistakes trying to dig that hole

that's why i said if they can keep it low scoring and close tey may be able to pull it out late

Predict bama's first three plays:

1) fake the jet sweep, short throw to TE

2) run behind CamRob

3) intermediate throw to the sticks
