Denver was a decent team that had extraordinary luck in the fact that they typically faced opponents that were either injured, or had shitty defenses. They had a hard time with, and lost to, teams with decent offenses and solid defenses (that had not been decimated by injuries).

Seattle definitely did a good job of fighting through the "natural" picks the Broncos like to run so much.
They didn't have to bring any extra guys to get pressure on Manning, so there was no threat of a deep passing game. This allowed them to have their LBs and Safeties come over the top and just wait for someone to catch a pass across the middle prior to nailing them.

The playcalling was still baffling. They essentially allowed the best defense in the NFL to only have to play within about 20 yards or less on every single play of the game.

Denver won 15 games - they were good... saying they were decent is a bit of a overreaction. Their defense was on a hot streak coming into the SB, but was definitely a weak link most of the regular season. They dominated the Patriots 2 weeks ago, also, but everyone seems to have forgotten that.

I will say that the NFC was the superior conference all season, and it seems like the general public/media talks heads had forgot that the last 2 weeks.

Broncos are really good on Offense, but that Defense ain't the same defense that helped Tebow out

The Denver Oline played like absolute shite.

he has the best WRs in the NFL. That ball usually comes out immediately and he missed badly on a lot of throws where he had time

He finally met a team who decided to play a defense that thwarted his game plan of chicken shite pick plays. He had used his oversized football mind to perfect that game plan and drill it into his offensive teammates.

Once he realized that Seattle had an answer for it, neither he nor his coaches or teammates had prepared any alternative. He was overconfident that his "brilliant" offensive scheme, that had broken all the regular season offensive records, could not be stopped.

Pretty much boiled down to the fact that Seattle's DB's owned the Bronco's WR.

They got beat up from the minute they left the line of scrimmage, and they got hammered when they did get their hands on a pass.

There were footsteps being heard all over that field yesterday.

The physicality of the NFC vs AFC this year was so skewed it was ridiculous. The broncos had literally lost the game yesterday before it even started. They could play that game 10 times and denver would never win. You're talking about one of the greatest secondaries ever fielded.

Dang...looks better than the one Tebow had.

Wonder how the Broncos would have done without handing the Seahawks 4 turnovers.
