I know it's not part of your Jackson is the worst starting pitcher out there agenda but kalish certainly didn't do him any favors dropping a ball he should have caught on the leadoff batter.

The fact that he put his entire body into it made it so much worse.

I know Jackson has had successful seasons before, but I just do not like him. He has some control issues, and I think it speaks volumes that he has never stuck on a team.

We were so close on Anibal.

He's a mid to back end starter. It an indictment on the cubs not his quality as to why he is a number 2 for us.

I think missing on Sanchez then settling for Jackson is why he draws, in my opinion, unfair ire.

I hope no one is misconstruing my defense of him as saying he is good.

It's the amount of $$$ we gave him why he's the #2

The Cubs have the same amount of runs in these past two games as they do World Series rings in the last 100 years.

I also ask future employers for as much money as possible. Seems like that's not an Edwin jackson problem.

Anyone could see he's not a number 2. If they thought that he could grow into one and paid him for that then surely they didn't expect that transformation to take place in one year.
