Phoenix sale aproved by the NHL... false flagNew Owners are a Canadian Group that wants 13 million a year to run the arena in Phoenix. Glendale only has 6 mil budgeted so the new owners will get permission to move team to Canada...

No the sale has been approved, supposedly with the understanding that if a new lease agreement and management fee can't be agreed new owners can move team...

I heard the sale had been approved with the caveat that the a lease agreement with the City of Glendale had to be agreed upon. Effectively keeping the team in PHX.
