Been there 7-8 times probably for a combined amount of 25-30 days.

New York is awesome, but I think I would get tired of living there. It would probably be a blast for a year though when you're young

As far as a short weekend trip it's the best in the U.S. I think. Endless amounts of things to do

excellent work. Pass judgments on a place you've never personally spent time in.

If Spieth wanted to drop 10 million on a penthouse in NYC, he could do so without even noticing the dip in his checking account.

Funny thing is, not everyone aspires to live in New York.

I don't care what other people do with their money. And I could totally see him not wanting to live in NYC, not that his buying a house in Dallas means he doesn't like it.

It makes far more sense for him to buy his main house in his hometown where he has far more access to golf courses. Living in Manhattan would be a pain in the arse for a professional golfer between the commute to play and the distractions.

Man geez my comment blew up. If Spieth wants to live in Dallas then he should live in Dallas I just think living in NYC at that age with money would be unreal. I understand the tough logistics for golf. If I had the money and everything else I would prolly do San Fran as a golfer. I used to always say I hated big cities etc etc. Then when I got my first real job and traveled to those cities, I was blown away how awesome it would be to live in a place where I would be able to be in the middle of everything without ever getting in my car

If I had that kind of money and could live however I wanted, I'd do LA, hands down. Even more so as a golfer.

Though I would need a helicopter and pilot full time to get me around.

That's why you keep the home in Dallas and claim that as your permanent residence.

Well, then 100% of the people that have a "vacation home" in florida are committing fraud...my dad included.
