I doubt it. Maddon knows its coming. It will happen and everyone will move on. I dont get there is a lot of hate between these teams honestly.
I would expect Maddon to do the same thing if an opposing pitcher threw up and in and injured one of his middle of the order players.

Bryant doesn't strike me as a guy who would charge the mound. Rizzo or Contreras would though.

Who are the Cards going to throw at? The only players that wouldn't go apeshit are probably Russell and Bryant. It's not like they can throw at the pitcher. Arrieta is cut from stone.
And if the Cardinals do throw at one of our players intentionally, I hope the Cubs slaughter them. Because that would be so Cardinals.
