Damn that 7th inning by wood was nasty.

Shame he has to come out after that 3 SO performance.

Soler needs to step it up. He's been struggling mightily of late.

So happy to see Castro playing so well. Horribly disrespected player.

I don't disagree at all, but his immaturity early in his career led to most of this disrespect. Great that he's turned things around.

His immaturity? Dude was 20, skipped aaa and was brought up too soon because everyone else sucked. I think maybe the more reasonable explanation is everyone set unrealistic standards for him to reach.

The Cubs have more stolen bases than home runs.

I know it's the respect 90 thing, but I'm wondering once the summer starts if that trend still happens. I wonder if Maddon is simply playing the weather right now, like a competent manager should do in Wrigley

For real, every night I'm on my phone watching it on gamecast. Ball 1. Stike 1. Strike 2. 18 minute pause....Check twitter...RBI single by Kris Bryant!

Yep, I think I need to add MLB.TV.

I can't see them continuing to lead the league, but I expect you'll still see plenty of SB attempts throughout the year. Rizzo with 6 already is certainly maddon playing the weather and pitchers not expecting it. Really loving the double steals too. We're not billy hamilton wreaking havoc on the basepaths...but doing the best with what we've got. Also...castro was safe last night.

Bryant with a very good heads up play to cutoff the throw from the OF and run-lunge to tag Hart ont hat reviewed play at 3B. He's a smart baseball player.

Lake with a good night, too...

he was. He was in before the tag..... butttt he was totally hosed by the throw, that was all on Walker for missing the tag. I can see why the initial call was out

the replay... idk

He looked safe, but it was close. I can accept that one.

I am, however, waiting for the day when good ole Joe West get a 'safe' call from new York on one of his 'out' calls, and still call the runner safe to save ego. Because, well, Joe West.

Yea, glad joe challenged it (hey he'd been right all night) but the call on the field whether safe or out was going to stand on that one.

Hah...true. Wasn't he the home plate ump for bryant's out at home while in pittsburg? Maybe it's already happened.
