The Cubs (68-41) look to sweep the A's (48-62) this afternoon from Oakland. Kyle Hendricks (10-7, 2.22) takes on Sean Manaea (3-6, 4.68). Go Cubs Go!

Still one more person to drop for Hammel soon. And la Stella and Cahill are in the minors.

Okay Fowler and Soler have both homered in their first AB coming off the DL. I would love to know when the last occurence of teammates doing that was.

Went to wrigley for the white sox game last Thursday when Sale came back from suspension. The Cubs look good. Wrigleyville is awesome. Theo bringing that curse breaking magic. Red Sox v Cubs World Series would be epic.

I usually love when the Cubs are on the West Coast, but I've been in Louisiana all week visiting family. That extra hour makes a huge difference. I think I fell asleep in the 5th last night.

He was struggling with the bat before the injury but he is so talented. You can't teach that bat speed. Don't forget how well he hit in the post-season last year, even against the Mets who everybody else struggled against.

If he could just lay off the sliders a foot off the plate....

He was actually hitting well before the injury.
