Trading Schwarber for a pitcher would be regrettable. That guy screams cornerstone offensive piece to me.

And I highly doubt the Cubs trade Schwarber the way ESPN thinks they will in their simplistic, dummy logic. The Cubs aren't trading Schwarber for Andrew Millor or Aroldis Chapman. They would, however, trade him for a team-controlled starting pitcher. That's just my opinion.
But on Bleacher Nation, they linked an article from Rosenthal where the Cubs tried to get in on the Pomeranz deal and make it a three-team deal, but the Padres wanted Javy Baez for Pomeranz to get it started and the Cubs said no. I think it will take a lot for the Cubs to trade Schwarber.
The Cubs could use late inning bullpen help, but I don't think they need it trade-Schwarber bad.
