It starts young and everyone that adds to it along the way is responsible.

LOL

Yeah lets all just ignore that college coaches are now getting paid too many millions.

One school imparticular comes to mind when i think of upping the ante for all other schools.
Anyway,
These guys do what they have to to protect their big jobs. And yes that includes recruiting bad grades, bad character, than so be it.

True. They get away with too much crap in College. Get kicked out, you go to another school.

College football is about to give the NFL Winston. Good luck with that one Goodell.

Wait. Why is Goodell meeting with college coaches to discuss player values and character?

I don't like where this is going.

Maybe the NCAA and NFL can work together and keep tabs on the thugs in college. We all know what happens when thugs makes millions, it'll only get worse.

I don't know why people are shocked at what's going on in the NFL. Hell read your local college sports section. There are usually some stories of assaults, fights in clubs, thefts, etc from college football players. But hey it's all about talent, as long as you can produce on the field, people over look the bad behavior.

I'm not so sure about this. I hope it's the case but I suspect that 18 year old kids don't view his disciple as a good thing. I do think he'll be the opposite of Mack though. Mack would get classes full of 4 and 5 star athletes and then under perform. Strong will get whatever he gets and get the most from them.

4 and 5* kids will still want to go to Texas. He cleaned house this year, and he'll still get some bad apples, but the number of kids he kicks off the team will go down each year.

Let's not act like Texas will have to recruit 2 and 3* players just because of Strong's core values.

Well good for him, but he signed A LOT of thugs at Louisville. A whole lot.

I guess that doesn't matter in this thread though since basically none of them made it to the NFL.

I wonder if Goodell asked him if he knew Aaron Hernandez would be a murderer back at Florida

Lol at the people on this board.

Bitch about all these players being Thugs and POS people

A coach actually trying to instill some values = bitch about that too

Kudos to Strong for trying to improve players values and morals. Texas will be good again very soon watch
