I wasn't downplaying it, I just found it funny the way you worded it. "Disgusting" would be describing Andy Reid after a bye. Hell idk how teams aren't more successful after byes.

Either way, I hope San Fran rolls vs Carolina.

It was mostly veiled sarcasm that very few would pick up on. And even fewer would call me out on.

Gore is going to have a big game and as long as SF limits the big plays I don't see it staying close long. I expect a big day from some unexpected players too....LMJ & Baldwin come on down.

Don't get your hopes up to high there. I do think a player like Vance McDonald is due to have a big game.

Baldwin is a stretch but LMJ is a great football player. Williams blows on special teams and Harbaugh will be looking to get him more involved. He is restless. I think getting him out of the backfield like they used to with Garrison Hearst will be a mismatch on the aggressive LB of Carolina .

I think they have a shot with that defense that they have.

but I think their offense will get pushed around by the 49ers. Remember, the Arizona Cardinals got after Cam Newton and sacked him a frick ton when they played earlier in the year. The Cardinals won that game by the way.

should be a low scoring ballgame. I say the 49ers take it by a score of like 23-13.

Yeah, every game Carolina lost was close except for the one against Arizona, which is very interesting.

If Carolina can get their running game going early, I think they have a chance. It's a big if, though.

I think that game was pretty low scoring for the longest time. It didn't get out of hand until the 4th quarter.

but as the game went on ARI's defense was just relentless getting after Cam Newton. They ended up making him throw some awful interceptions.
