Shannon Sharpe: Chad, it's going to be tough breh.
Chad Johnson: Why's it going to be tough?
Shannon: Because if the guys now don't have 1000 catches, they're not even going to think about you.
Chad: But the thing is, I got those numbers without 1000 catches. Keep going.
Shannon: But you only had 67 touchdowns.
Chad: What do you mean "only"? Do you know how hard it was for me to get 67 touchdowns?
Shannon: How many years did you play?
Chad: 10.
Shannon: My brother played seven. He got 65.
Chad: Who's your brother?

I like Ochocinco. He was the original Twitter star of the NFL.

Shannon is right though, but I also think the HOF is confusingly harder on WRs than other positions.

The HOF is a joke. Shannon is one of the best TEs ever

It will be tough, a shite load of very good to borderline great WR's, who won't sniff that hall.

Seriously, when it comes to HOF, the WR position is getting squeezed. You might get lucky and 1 gets picked.

Chad Johnson was in Richmond a couple of years ago and tweeted out that he was looking for a FIFA game. One of my sons fraternity brothers responded to him. Johnson got a ride to Norfolk and spent the afternoon hanging out with the guys and playing FIFA. He's alright in my book.

I know, csb but it really is a cool story.

I know Johnson tweeted at this guy who was youtube famous for his shotgun kills in call of duty, and busting cheaters(sandy Ravage), and tweeted that his videos were great and he was a fan.

So Sandy guy tweeted back, let's 1v1. Didn't get to see if they ended up playing.

I know that Castro guy who streams fifa has played with several MLS and some of Madrids players. FIFA guys sent him and his GF to the el classico, and he got to watch and hang with Madrid players.

That is great.

Doesn't really help Chad's argument, though.

No, it doesn't. He made some good points about the defenses he played against though.

He still does that. He literally shows up to random people's houses in South Florida and plays them in FIFA lol

He's got a shot at Hof.
4 time all pro normally gets you in.
Might be a while but it should get you in.
Queue the morons who think in talking about pro bowls.

Shannon Sharpe probably shouldn't even be in the hall of fame. I understand he was in a run heavy era with those teams but just for quick reference...

Antonio Gates and Tony Gonzales numbers dwarf his. I expect Gronk at this rate will too.

It's a shame you can't throw guys out because Sharpe probably wouldn't make the top 5-6 TEs in about 10 years from now. Once more people start coming through.

This is some stupid shite. Randy Moss has 982 catches.

It's that kind of backwards arse thinking that will get compilers like Hines Ward in before better WRs.
